Welcome to the website of the Greenwich String Quartet. We are a dynamic professional ensemble formed of experienced players. Our music will create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding, party or function, and is always elegantly and stylishly presented. Our extensive repertoire covers a broad range of styles from classical to jazz, pop, latin and Broadway.

The quartet is based in the Greenwich area and performs at many prestigious venues in London and the South East. These include the Old Royal Naval College, Queen’s House, Eltham Palace, Claridges, the Dorchester and Savoy hotels, country house hotels, the Royal Academy of Arts, Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, National History Museum, Hampton Court Palace, Leeds Castle and luxury cruise liners.

The quartet members studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, and play with many of the leading London orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra and London Mozart Players. We have performed to royalty and celebrities, and worked with many major figures in the music world, such as Placido Domingo, Yehudi Menuhin, Nigel Kennedy and Luciano Pavarotti.
